DALLAS – Lanyon, a global leader in meetings, events and travel software, announced that Meeting Professionals International (MPI) has selected the company's attendee management software, RegOnline by Lanyon, to power MPI Academy education events, such as the Experiential Event Series. The association is also leveraging the partnership to give its chapters the opportunity to utilize the technology for their meetings and events. The agreement continues Lanyon's commitment to provide best-in-class software to leading associations.

Event technology has become an increasing focal point for associations. According to a study by SmithBucklin, only 11% of associations are planning on outsourcing their event management, leaving 89% of associations reliant on internal staff to organize their meetings and events.
