Latin America Cruise Convention moving to Rio

Seatrade announces the 4th edition of its Latin America Cruise Convention to take place in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 2-3 September, 2014.

LONDON, UK – Seatrade Communications announced that the 4th edition of the Seatrade Latin America Cruise Convention will take place in the homeport of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil next September. The event returns to Brazil after touring the region having taken place in Sao Paulo, 2011, Buenos Aires in 2012 and Valparaiso in 2013. It is the first time that the event has taken place in Rio de Janeiro.

The event is being supported by SeTur – Secretaria de Estado de Turismo, TurisRio – Companhia de Turismo do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, RIOTUR -The City of Rio Tourism Authority, and Embratur amongst others.

The two day conference, exhibition and social programme will focus on the development of the cruise industry in Latin America addressing opportunities and challenges including increasing both source and international passenger numbers, developing new itineraries and shore excursions and port development.
