Mideast’s strong presence in important tourism exhibitions and conferences around the world

Mideast participated in globally established exhibitions – SATTE, OTM, EMITT, IFT, LTM and a B2B conference of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Tourism

From the beginning of 2014, Mideast started dynamically by attending internationally recognized tourism exhibitions around the world. The company attended two major exhibitions in India, SATTE (South Asia Travel and Tourism Exchange) in New Delhi and OTM (Outbound Market) in Mumbai, having plentiful meetings with Indian agents in order to establish new partnerships and to further strengthen the existing.

Moreover, Mideast expands to the U.S. market, by participating in a B2B conference in Athens, organized by the Hellenic-American Chamber of Tourism, where representatives of the company met with distinguished American agencies’ executives interested in cooperating with Greek tourism enterprises.

Covering the emerging region of Turkey and the eastern Mediterranean, the company attended for the second year EMITT (East Mediterranean International Tourism and Travel Exhibition) in Istanbul, one of the largest tourism fairs of the region.

The company also participated in IFT (International Fair of Tourism) in Belgrade, in cooperation with the Holy Synod of the Church of Greece, in order to promote our country as a destination, highlighting the abundant choices Greece offers for pilgrimage tourism.

Finally, Mideast participated last week, in LTM (Luxury Travel Mart) in Moscow, where the company’s representatives met with executives from the most popular travel agencies of the C.I.S. that are interested in luxury outbound tourism towards Greece.

Setting as a priority to be present at the most important fairs of major and emerging tourism markets, Mideast has already been registered in the following events / exhibitions:

  • Arabian Market – GIBTM (Gulf Incentive, Business Travel and Meetings Exhibition) in Abu Dhabi and ATM (Arabian Travel Market) in Dubai
  • World Market – IMEX (Worldwide Exhibition for Incentive Travel, Meetings and Events) in Frankfurt
  • Greek Market – TTA (Travel Trade Athens) in Athens, a relatively new event in the Greek market that is getting established as the most important fair to promote Athens as a destination for M.I.C.E. tourism.
