Simpleview connects with Stackla in new partnership for DMO Social Media tools

Stackla's tools provide solutions for both showcasing owned content published by DMOs and user-generated content (UGC) curated via 15+ social media channels, any RSS feed or direct upload using a sophisticated and highly customizable rules engine.

TUCSON, ARIZ. – Simpleview has formalized a partnership with social content marketing platform Stackla, whose clients include McDonald’s, Disney, Ford, FOX Sports, Lenovo, the White House and more than 500 other U.S. and global brands.

“Over the years, we’ve built a number of social media aggregators,” said Simpleview CEO Ryan George. “Stackla, however, has mastered the challenge of turning social media into content that truly drives measurable ROI. That’s what’s at the heart of this partnership and what we want to bring to our customers.”

Stackla’s tools provide solutions for both showcasing owned content published by DMOs and user-generated content (UGC) curated via 15+ social media channels, any RSS feed or direct upload using a sophisticated and highly customizable rules engine.

Out-of-the-box solutions and APIs from Stackla empower marketers to:

  • Create rich social media hubs and real-time event streams aggregated by keywords, locations and hashtags
  • Pull user-generated content directly into banner ads, other paid media and point-of-purchase content to boost sales
  • Engage, spotlight and reward valuable social media contributors, directly or through streamlined contests and competitions
  • Sync social media standouts against CRM databases, track their posts and configure related activity alerts
  • Measure consumer engagement with built-in dashboards or drop-in tracking for other analytics platforms.

Stackla’s tourism clients currently include Helloworld, Visit Scotland, Hamilton Island and Tourism Victoria, the last of which tracked a 12 percent increase in bookings and 1,500 percent increase in click-throughs when using Stackla’s tools to pull UGC into its online marketing initiatives.

“Case studies like these, along with a stringent RFP process provided a clear signal that Stackla provides the best fit for delivering a truly original, powerful platform for tapping into those wells of social content that travelers want and trust,” George said.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Simpleview to bring powerful new tools to DMOs,” said Damien Mahoney, co-founder and CEO of Stackla. “Working together, we can help companies get more out of their investment in social, bring new levels of authenticity, and trust to their campaigns.”

Simpleview has already begun the process of integrating Stackla’s base technologies into its CMS platform, with new features and standalone solutions scheduled for availability early in 2016.
