Easily see upcoming trips and travel alerts in one place. Push notifications for flight delays, gate changes, refund alerts and more are now available for TripIt Pro members.
SAN FRANCISCO – TripIt, the mobile trip organizer from Concur announced an extensive redesign to the TripIt app for iPad, making it easier for travelers to see upcoming trips in one place. With the latest update, TripIt Pro members with an iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Android phone can now receive push notifications for the alerts and reminders that let them know if everything is running smoothly or if there’s a delay or change.
Previously available only as emails or text messages, TripIt Pro alerts are now also captured in an alerts dashboard within the TripIt app for iPad, providing a helping hand for travelers who have Wi-Fi access but no international data plan.
Now available as push notifications, in-app alerts, text messages, emails or TripIt.com messages, TripIt Pro alerts include:
- Check-in reminder 24 hours in advance
- Departure summary shortly before the trip begins
- Cancellation and delay alerts, with help finding alternate flights with open seats
- Gate change notifications
- Arrival and connection summaries to help make the transfer or airport pickup go smoothly
- Alerts if the price of the airfare goes down, with instructions on how to claim a refund or credit.

TripIt for iPad now features the same welcome dashboard, “What’s Next” reminder and enhanced trip maps available on TripIt for iPhone, which received a design refresh of its own.
TripIt instantly organizes all travel reservations and activities – no matter where they’re booked – into one helpful itinerary, which can easily be shared with others.
