USA tops global destinations for Hertz Middle East and Africa customers in 2013

World’s leading general-use car rental brand offers up to 33 per cent discount for Mid East customers on car rentals worldwide.

DUBAI – The USA was the most popular outbound destination for Hertz Middle East and Africa customers in 2013, as the world’s leading general-use car rental brand today announced the return of its annual winter sale, offering Middle East customers up to 33 per cent off Hertz car rentals worldwide.

Customers will enjoy discounts up to 33 per cent for qualifying domestic or outbound rentals in Europe and the Middle East, up to 20 per cent for Asia and 15 per cent in North America for bookings made from 24 December 2013 until 26 January 2014, and pick up between 2 January 2014 and 30 June 2014.

This year Hertz Middle East and Africa customers rented more Hertz cars in USA than in any other of the 150 countries that the company operates in – 50 per cent more than the next most popular outbound destination, France.

The rentals made through the annual Hertz Global Sale will also qualify for Frequent Flyer miles from over 80 global partners.

The Hertz Global Sale includes rentals on a wide range of vehicles from economical city cars to family hatchbacks, luxury vehicles and people carriers. Many locations are also providing discounts on Hertz’s popular Prestige, Fun, Family and Green Collections.

Customers renting from the Hertz Collections can also benefit from Hertz’s Make and Model Guarantee which ensures that they will drive away in the exact car they chose when booking.

All discounts are subject to availability and terms and conditions and may exclude short-term, blackout periods.

The Hertz Global Sale launches with a prominent advertising campaign featuring the “One look and you’ll be booked” and “spinning down prices: up to 33% off” catch phrases.
