Alpine College is launching a Spa Managers Club to bring together professionals in the fast growing Spa industry in Greece who will in future form the Hellenic Spa & Wellness Association with the aim of promoting high standards of quality and services within the Spa industry.
The Spa Managers Club will act as a vehicle to promote education for all those working in spas with the aim of gaining advanced management skills to enable them progress in their careers and make their spas very successful and profitable. Alpine College offers a 2-year Spa Management Diploma course that will lead to a Bachelor’s degree in Spa Management in 2011. Alpine College Online launched in September a Spa Management Online Certificate course for those unable to attend regular classes on campus.
Another objective of the Spa Managers Club is to offer a platform for all those involved in the spa industry to network and plan for the future with the aim of sharing best practices, facilitating employment and student placements, and encouraging research and publication.
The Spa Managers Club will hold its first meeting followed by a reception on Friday 13 November at 17:30 at Alpine College’s campus located in the Palmyra Beach Hotel, 70 Possidonos Avenue, Glyfada, Athens Greece.
