IAEE announces new strategic partnership with the Europe Congress Event Solution

Hosted Buyer Program and Education aims to attract organizers planning events in Europe.

DALLAS –  The International Association of Exhibitions and Events (IAEE) announces a partnership with the MCE Event for Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to host qualified exhibition organizers at its event to be held 9-11 February 2014 in Bucharest, Romania as well as co-produce education content at the event. The MCE Event aims to showcase the massive potential and unique economical value offered by the Central and Eastern European regions to event organizers and corporate event planners, and encourage them to engage in business in those regions.

IAEE President and CEO David DuBois, CMP, CAE, FASAE, CTA said, “We are excited to work with ECES on this strategic initiative and increase awareness about IAEE in Europe in an ongoing effort to embrace new partners in collaborative efforts. IAEE’s priority is to strategically provide new global opportunities for our members so they can maximize their potential for success around the world.”

To effectively engage attendees at the MCE Event, IAEE will host education focusing on expertise and best practices for the exhibitions and events industry, in addition to the Certified in Exhibition Management Learning Program. Attendees will have an additional opportunity to get a deeper understanding of the exhibitions and events industry during these education sessions.

Romain Bouchariat, project manager, ECES said, “We are delighted to have partnered with IAEE, and we believe that this strategic partnership will help to drive ECES forward as a leader in the travel, tourism and exhibitions industry in Europe. The education program is an important element of the event, and it is key that we continue to deliver relevant content which supports the business objectives of our attendees.”

IAEE, which was founded in 1928 to represent the interests of trade show and exhibition managers, represents over 8,300 individuals who conduct and support exhibitions around the world. More than 55 percent of its members are directly involved in the planning, management and production of exhibitions.
