IMEX 2007 was the platform for a record number of ICCA promotions and events involving over 2,000 members and clients more than ever before according to the association. ICCA took the lead with IMEX in organising the successful Association Day Programme and Association Networking Evening.
With record enquiries from prospective new member companies, great feedback from ICCA members with regard to the quality and quantity of clients at the show, and tremendous interest in sponsorship and participation in this year`s ICCA Congress in Thailand, IMEX 2007 was an undoubted success.
Especially the 2006 ICCA country and city ranking, which was presented right before IMEX generated a lot of media attention on the ICCA stand.
ICCA CEO Martin Sirk says: There was virtually no time to relax during the three days on the ICCA stand despite having brought the biggest staff team ever to Frankfurt. Not only was it exceptionally busy, but the quality of participants was extremely high, both in terms of industry suppliers and clients. Feedback from our members has been almost universally positive, and since these industry leaders cover all meetings sectors and all regions of the world we have to conclude that IMEX continues to deliver a tremendous, globally relevant event.
