Air Canada continued its transborder U.S. expansion from western Canada with the inauguration of daily, non-stop flights to Palm Springs, California. Air Canada Jazz operates the flights with Bombardier CRJ-705 aircraft. This seasonal service will operate until April 10, 2007.
“We are delighted to launch daily, non-stop flights from Calgary to Palm Springs and offer a choice of traveling to the warm California desert in style with our Executive Class service,” said Daniel Shurz, Air Canada’s vice president responsible for network planning at Air Canada and Jazz. “With the expansion of our North American fleet, we are deploying aircraft to grow our service to leisure destinations to meet travel demand.”
