Gulf Air is to operate a premium, once-a-week non-stop service to Geneva from its base in Abu Dhabi. The first flight, to take off on June 16 as part of Gulf Air`s summer schedule, will be operated on the Boeing 737-700 business jet. The aircraft has been configured to offer an exclusively tailored three-class service for VIPs and corporate travellers to one of Europe`s key business destinations, according to a report in Khaleej Times.

Geared predominantly for First and Business Class passengers, the flights will depart from Abu Dhabi once a week on Thursday at 11am, returning from Geneva on Fridays. Two of Gulf Air`s five star chefs have been assigned to oversee the provision of the finest dinning in the skies, said Michael Kent, Head of In-flight Services at Gulf Air. In addition to an excellent specially created menu, our chefs offer more variety and personal attention, he said.

The introduction of Gulf Air`s service to Geneva follows on the announcement at Arabian Travel Mart (ATM) in Dubai, of Business Plus, in which a range of services are combined to offer convenience and style to business travellers in and out of Abu Dhabi. Gulf Air also recently introduced the Business Plus services that includes a `meet and greet` service, fast-track immigration and baggage clearance in and out of Abu Dhabi, and Jaguar chauffeur service between Abu Dhabi airport and any destination in the UAE.
