International Air Charter expands in the Middle East region

International Air Charter plc (IAC) has announced that it intends to expand operations by forging new GSA

International Air Charter plc (IAC) has announced that it intends to expand operations by forging new GSA (General Sales Agent) partnerships in the Middle East region.

The aircraft charter broker recently participated at the Arabian Travel Market for the fifth successive year, using this event to scout for new partners in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Lebanon.

Speaking about the expansion, Hugh Courtenay, Chief Executive of International Air Charter plc stated, This is an important milestone in our 3 years of operations in the Middle East. GSA partnerships will help us drive sales within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries as well as handle queries of passengers wishing to travel to Europe and America.

A significant increase in corporate enquiries within the GCC region and from Lebanon has led us to believe that by expanding in this way, we can cater to these fast-growing potential markets better, he added.

The aircraft charter broker, who specialises in the provision of executive and VIP aircraft currently has offices in major business hubs across the world, including New York, Nice, Frankfurt, Padova (Italy) and Dubai.

IAC has achieved remarkable growth since it began operations in 2002, posting a record 30 per cent increase in revenue for the year ended 31st December, 2004.

Brokers, as independents with access to a large network of aircraft can source competitive rates. International Air Charter is able to offer clients extremely cost-effective and quick solutions by sourcing an aircraft closest to their location, from its large database of operators. This helps clients save time as well as the additional expense incurred by the positioning of an empty aircraft.
