Attendees will also enjoy hearing comments from former New York Police Department Commissioner Bernard B. Kerik at the Breakfast General Session on Wednesday. Kerik, who was on the scene moments after two hijacked airliners struck the World Trade Center, will explain how his leadership skills aided his city on September 11. In addition, NBC Nightly News' Tom Brokaw will bring his unique and award-winning commentary to lodging executives from across the United States during Thursday's Breakfast General Session.
Brokaw will also discuss his best-selling book, The Greatest Generation, an account of the generation of Americans born in the 1920s who came of age during the Great Depression, fought in World War II, and went on to continue to build America.
