Five-star castle hotel set to welcome guests again after the largest restoration project of its Kind in the country.

Adare Manor is being transformed by a major renovation that is honoring its architectural legacy while incorporating the latest in modern luxury. Closed for over 18 months, the hotel is adding a 42-room wing, bringing the total to 104 rooms. Heritage craftsmen are overseeing the meticulous upgrade and restoration of finishes, furniture, woodwork, stonework and windows. The refurbishment is enhancing the entire resort, including redesigned guest rooms and public areas, and introducing contemporary comforts such as air conditioning in all rooms and elevators to every floor.

The existing Manor House will feature an indoor pool and relaxation area with a sauna, fitness center and movie theater. It will also house a new state-of-the-art spa, The Spa at Adare Manor – the U.K. and Ireland's only La Mer Spa. From La Mer's transformational products to the exclusive treatments inspired by the sea, the spa will offer a sanctuary to rejuvenate mind and body.
Located in County Limerick, Adare Manor sits in the heart of Adare village, where thatched cottages and ancient stone walls preserve an unspoiled Ireland. The manor's 842 acres feature parkland, walled gardens and walking trails. The grounds are also being enhanced during the closure, and will offer an extensive range of pursuits, including falconry, archery, clay pigeon shooting, Segway activities, fishing, tennis, cycling, and historical tours. In addition to clubhouse improvements, world-renowned golf course designer Tom Fazio is supervising a comprehensive redesign of the manor's 18-hole championship course, which will secure its place among the finest in Europe.
