Lato Boutique Hotel voted as the Leading Europe’s & Greece’s Boutique Hotel

Continuing to set higher standards in accommodation and dining, Lato Boutique Hotel at Heraklion city, in Crete Island, Greece receives two World Travel Awards as the Leading European and Greek Boutique Hotel for 2008. The 15th World Travel Awards Ceremony for Europe Winners was held in Slovakia where Lato Boutique Hotel was awarded as the “Europe’s Leading Boutique Hotel” & “Greece’s Leading Boutique Hotel” for 2008.

The candidates for World Travel Awards, or “Tourism Oscars” as they have been also called by the Wall Street Journal, are based upon the previous year’s voting. The nominations are then vetted and inspected by a group of industry experts. The World Travel Awards’ Voting is online processed. The votes come from executives working within travel and tourism, but notably the majority is the travel agents. In 2008 the voting has been open to the traveling public. Aiming to provide unique accommodation experiences, Lato Boutique Hotel’s team is paying attention to every single detail in order to meet the guests’ expectations and fulfil their personal needs.

This worldwide recognition is a great honour, showcasing Lato’s intensive strives to outreach the property’s high standards set for accommodation and dining.
