Marje Jones joins DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld as Director of sales and marketing

Marje Jones most recently served as a director of sales and business development in the D.C. metro area.

ORLANDO, FLA. – DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld – spanning 28 acres within the heart of International Drive – welcomes Marje Jones as director of sales and marketing. Bringing extensive experience in the hospitality industry, Jones will develop and implement sales and marketing plans designed to drive profit for the newly-renovated resort.

“Having worked with Crescent Hotels & Resorts for many years, Marje has an impressive ability to identify business growth areas and design creative programs to increase revenues,” says Harold Bassler, general manager, DoubleTree by Hilton Orlando at SeaWorld. “Coupled with her professional history of selling in the Orlando market, she promises to lead our team in taking the property to the next level.”

Jones most recently served as a director of sales and business development in the D.C. metro area, where she specialized in working with historic colleges and private universities, securing highly sensitive government accounts and formulating marketing partnerships which resulted in impressive sales growth for her hotels. Prior to that, she spent five years in the Orlando market as a director of sales at several notable properties, gaining vast experience with the Hilton brand and formulating strong alliances throughout the state. Jones holds a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration and a Masters in International Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
