The analysts at HighSpeedInternet.com have created a national report revealing the hotel chains with the best Wi-Fi plans, so Americans can book a hotel with the internet plan they need for their vacation.
Here are some highlights:
- Rodeway Inn has the best Wi-Fi deal, with a free Wi-Fi speed of 7.66 Mbps.
- The other top-ranking hotel chains were Americas Best Value Inn, Quality Inn & Suites, Super 8, and Days Inn.
- The hotel chain offering the fastest purchased Wi-Fi is Econo Lodge, which offer an average of 8.48 Mbps in Wi-Fi speeds.
To determine each hotel chain’s ranking, HighSpeedInternet.com's analyst team found the top 20 hotels chains (based on the number of locations across the US) and used data from hotelwifitest.com to calculate average hotel Wi-Fi speeds across the US. Some of these speeds were estimates. They then calculated the top and bottom hotels which provide the most inclusive internet access.
