MOSCOW – Aeroflot has taken delivery of its two new full-specification Sukhoi Superjet 100 (registration number RA-89046 and RA-89047) produced by JSC Sukhoi Civil Aircraft (SCA).

Both planes have been named in honour of Soviet pilots, veterans of the World War II. RA-89046 has been named after Dmitry Glinka, a twice hero of the Soviet Union; RA-89047 – in honour of Alexander Gruzdin, a hero of the Soviet Union.

The SSJ-100 is a next-generation regional jet developed and produced by SCA in cooperation with Alenia Aeronautica.
