American Express honors Avoya Travel Independent Agency as representative pacesetter

Sue Ratliff, award-winning agency owner, will be recognized for top sales performance and unsurpassed customer service at event June 17-21.

MIAMI – Avoya Travel, an American Express Travel Representative and one of the world’s leading travel companies, announced that Sue Ratliff, owner of Sea the World Cruises & Tours, an Independent Agency of Avoya, was named a 2013 Representative Pacesetter by American Express.

American Express Representative Pacesetters are the top-producing travel professionals in the various American Express travel groups across the globe, and are selected based on their superior customer service, sales performance, involvement in the travel agent community, and commitment to delivering extraordinary travel experiences.

Ratliff is an award-winning agency owner and has been an Independent Affiliate of Avoya since 2006. She has received numerous accolades including Avoya’s esteemed “Chairman’s Club”, “President’s Circle”, and “Best of the Best” awards every year since their inception. Ratliff specializes in selling luxury and premium cruises, multi-generational travel, and FITs. She is also a destination specialist for Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Europe, and South Africa. With her excellence in sales and customer service, Ratliff is projected to sell over $3.5 million in vacations in 2014. She currently resides in Texas with her husband, Ernie, who also works in travel as her business partner.

The annual Pacesetter award event will be held at the Ritz-Carlton in Istanbul, Turkey, June 17–21, and will recognize Ratliff and all Pacesetter winners for extraordinary performance and contributions to the travel industry.
