250 tour operators register for Check Safety First’s TourCheck reports

Independent health and safety expert Check Safety First is delighted to announce that it has registered its first 250 tour operators in just 6 months to receive its TourCheck safety reports. Registered tour operators can receive free up-to-date intelligence on the health and safety standards in over 1,600 hotels.

Launched in June this year, TourCheck is the first real-time safety report enabling travel firms to access essential safety information, in a format that is suitable for all tour operators. Using Check Safety First’s web-based auditing system, E-Cristal, TourCheck can also reduce the administrative burden from hotels as it allows them to take a proactive approach to health and safety to comply with operator standards. As all hotels working with Check Safety First are audited on a monthly basis, the reports offer the travel industry the added assurance that the required assessments have been carried out by trained experts.

Steve Tate, Chairman at Check Safety First, explains: “TourCheck has been extremely popular so far and we are thrilled to have reached the 250 mark for tour operator registrations. TourCheck is a great marketplace for listed hotels as it will bring them more business, with travel firms able to receive the latest accurate reports from each establishment.”
