Following on their expansion in the UK earlier this year, BCD Meetings & Incentives (BCD M&I) proceeded into two key leadership appointments for operations in continental Europe, effective 25 June 2007.
Marc ter Haar will join BCD M&I as Senior Vice President, EMEA, while Shaun Casey will join the organisation as Managing Director, EMEA, reporting directly to Marc.
Marc will have overall business and financial management responsibilities for BCD M&I in continental Europe, reporting directly into President Scott Graf. Marc will work to develop the strategic direction of BCD M&I in continental Europe, manage all cooperative business strategies with the broader BCD Travel organisation and play a key role in global merger and acquisition strategies for BCD M&I.
Shaun will be responsible for BCD M&I sales, marketing and operations within continental Europe, and all current BCD M&I country leaders on the continent will report directly to him.

Both Marc and Shaun will work in tandem with Robin Smith, Managing Director for BCD M&I in the UK and Ireland, to ensure a cohesive and complete EMEA strategy. One immediate shared project will include the launch of BCD M&I’s event production business (based in the UK) in continental Europe.
