Minoan<.> Flying Dolphins has added another vessel to its list of recent acquisitions with the Penelope A car passenger ferry, which it purchased from Agoudimos Lines. The ship carries out the Rafina-Andros-Tinos-Mykonos itinerary. Minoan, whose fleet now numbers 68, plans to offer an increased number of sailings per day next season aboard four traditional ferries and one high-speed vessel.
Based on 1999 figures, the company estimates annual turnover will reach 37.2 billion drachmas and expects to transport 7.5 million passengers next year.
