Kavala Mayor Stathis Erifyllidis has set the ball rolling for a future air link between the central Greek town and its German sister city Nuremberg. Following a recent visit to Nuremberg, Erifyllidis facilitated contact between the newly-established Kavala-based Galaxy Airways and the German city’s mayor, Ludwig Scholz. Through this proposal, the two officials hope to make travel between the two cities easier for their inhabitants as well as improve economic ties.
