The VisitBritain website triumphed over the other nominees – Australia, Germany and Thailand – at the 11th annual World Travel Awards, which recognise and celebrate contributions and achievements in all sectors of the global travel industry. Each year, tens of thousands of travel professionals from over 200 countries cast their votes to choose the best of the best on a worldwide scale.
