Ryanair launches record London winter 2016 schendule

Five new routes to Alicante, Belfast, Hamburg, Timisoara and Toulouse, seven new winter services and more flights on 11 routes, 10% growth.

Ryanair launched its biggest ever London winter schedule (2016), with 5 new routes to Alicante, Belfast, Hamburg, Timisoara and Toulouse, 7 new winter services to Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Jerez, Murcia, Sofia, Tenerife and Vilnius, and more flights on 11 other routes, which will deliver 23.6m customers p.a. and support 17,700* jobs at London Stansted, London Gatwick and London Luton Airports, as Ryanair grows its London traffic by 10%.

Ryanair’s London winter 2016 schedule will deliver:

London Stansted

  • 3 new routes to: Hamburg (2 daily), Timisoara (1 daily) and Toulouse (1 daily)
  • More flights to: Alicante (10 weekly), Bordeaux (5 weekly), Faro (1 daily), Gran Canaria (6 weekly), Lanzarote (5 weekly), Malta (4 weekly), Nuremberg (2 daily), Seville (9 weekly) and Valencia (1 daily)
  • 2 new winter services: Jerez (2 weekly) and Sofia (2 daily)
  • 108 routes in total
  • Over 1,000 weekly flights
  • 20m customers p.a. (+1.2m)
  • 15,000* “on-site” jobs p.a.

London Gatwick

  • 2 new routes to: Alicante (6 weekly) and Belfast (5 daily)
  • More flights to Dublin (8 daily)
  • 5 routes in total
  • 110 weekly flights
  • 1.7m customers p.a.  (+750,000)
  • 1,300* “on-site” jobs p.a.

London Luton

  • 5 new winter services to: Fuerteventura (2 weekly), Gran Canaria (2 weekly), Murcia (3 weekly), Tenerife (2 weekly) and Vilnius (4 weekly)
  • More flights to Kaunas (daily)
  • 17 routes in total
  • 100 weekly flights
  • 1.9m customers p.a. (+275,000)
  • 1,400* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Ryanair will continue to connect London with Europe’s major centres of business through high frequency services, including Belfast (5 daily), Dublin (19 daily) Madrid (4 daily) and Rome (5 daily), with more flights, better timings and the lowest fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business and leisure customers.

Ryanair launches Glasgow winter 2016 schendule
Ryanair also launched its Glasgow winter 2016 schedule, with 4 new routes from Glasgow Intl to Alicante, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Malaga, and 3 new winter services from Glasgow Prestwick to Barcelona, Faro and Malta, which will deliver over 1.8m customers p.a. and support 1,400* jobs at Glasgow Intl and Glasgow Prestwick airports, as Ryanair grows its traffic by 17%.

Ryanair’s winter 2016 Glasgow schedule will deliver:

Glasgow Intl

  • 4 new routes to Alicante (3 weekly), Gran Canaria (1 weekly), Lanzarote (2 weekly) and Malaga (4 weekly)
  • 11 routes including Derry, Dublin, London Stansted, Riga, Warsaw and Wroclaw
  • More flights to Berlin (6 x weekly)
  • 75 weekly flights
  • 1.2m customers p.a. (+200,000)
  • 900* “on-site” jobs p.a.

Glasgow Prestwick

  • 3 new winter services to Barcelona (3 weekly), Faro (2 weekly) and Malta (1 weekly)
  • 9 routes in including: Alicante, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Malaga
  • More flights to Tenerife (4 weekly)
  • 20 weekly flights
  • 680,000 customers p.a. (+75,000)
  • 500* “on-site” jobs p.a.
