SOUTHLAKE, TEXAS – Sabre Corporation is launching its new FareNabber API at Sabre's TTX innovation conference in Las Vegas, which will empower travel companies and developers to create a smarter, more personalized experience for consumers when shopping for airfares.
In a world where technology is regularly used to automate and simplify common tasks, consumers expect the same experience when shopping for travel. Today’s travelers want to shop for airfares in new ways. They want to define their preferred trip criteria and be alerted when options that meet their needs become available – rather than spend valuable time monitoring flight options to find the best deal.
The newest API in Sabre’s platform, FareNabber gives developers, OTAs and agents the ability to offer travelers the perfect flight options through the power of automated search. It allows them to display flight listings faster while enabling more bookings by automatically searching and identifying flight options based on customer preference.
Travelers can be notified of preferred flights by selecting their preferences including:
- Origin and destination
- Number of passengers
- Date flexibility, including days of the week
- Departure time or arrival time window
- Preferred airlines
- Maximum acceptable fare per person
