Sunrise Airways slates November 1st start date for new Haiti – Cuba service

Packages available for purchase now on twice-weekly flights between Port-au-Prince (PAP) and Holguin (HOG).

PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI – Sunrise Airways has set a November 1, 2013 start date for its new flights between its home base in Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Holguin, a resort city in southeastern Cuba. The new flights, initially announced September 23, 2013, will operate twice-weekly on an air/hotel charter basis at the onset, with packages available for purchase exclusively via travel agencies throughout Haiti and Cuba.

“All of us at Sunrise Airways are extremely excited to establish this vital new air link between Haiti and Cuba, providing leisure and business travelers in both countries with a reliable, customer-focused means of transport worthy of their business” said Hamish Davidson, COO of Sunrise Airways.

The new Holguin service marks the second international route for Sunrise Airways, following the August 26, 2013 launch of its first-ever flights between Cap Haitien in northern Haiti and Providenciales, Turks & Caicos.

Sunrise Airways will deploy 19-seat Jetstream 32 EP aircraft on its new Port-au-Prince- Holguin service, providing ample head- and leg-room, plus the added comfort of refurbished cabins and fresh upholstered seating.
