New limehome location opened at Augarten in Vienna

The new accommodation is being built in a high-quality, extensively renovated old building dating from 1892.

MUNICH / VIENNA – limehome, leading technology-based provider and operator of fully digitalised design apartments in Europe, is opening a further 23 serviced apartments in Vienna. The new units in Karajangasse are part of the fourth limehome project in the Austrian capital and strengthen the presence of the Munich-based hospitality tech company in Vienna.

The new accommodation is being built in a high-quality, extensively renovated old building dating from 1892. Guests will be able to choose from one and two bed-apartments as well as eight larger family suites. The 23 suites are spread over four floors of the Gründerzeit building. Some of the apartments are equipped with balconies.

The new limehome location is close to the Augarten park, which is used by locals and tourists for sports and recreation. The Danube Canal, which attracts many tourists and residents especially in the summer with its gastronomic offerings, is also close to the property.

Matthias J. Maas, Head of Expansion at limehome, says: “Vienna is one of Europe’s most popular destinations for city breaks. Thanks to our digital DNA, we are able to offer our guests a smooth travel experience and stable returns for our project partners. We are proud to be one of the largest providers of serviced apartments in Vienna with 172 apartments in the coming years.”

Peter Tatzl, Director Investment at GalCap, says: “As part of the general refurbishment, the Gründerzeit building has been adapted and converted to meet modern requirements. We are pleased to have found a reliable tenant in limehome for this unique apartment building. The strong brand and high quality operating concept fit perfectly with our leasing strategy.”

The project in the 20th district is already the fourth in Vienna. Two of them are currently still under development: A limehome on Landgutgasse is scheduled to open at the beginning of 2024. Another property on Bischoffgasse will be ready for guests from spring 2025.
