The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), the voice of the business travel industry, congratulated Kevin Maguire, CCTE, GLP, GBTA Vice President and Travel Manager for Intercollegiate Athletics at the University of Texas at Austin, for receiving the Business Travel News Travel Manager of the Year Award.
The award recognizes the accomplishments of the travel management practitioners who have distinguished themselves in the past year by advancing innovation and best practices in the corporate travel industry.

The award honors the North American travel buyer who has exerted the most positive influence on travel management and for elevating individual travel management practices. Jay Campbell, editorial director, Business Travel News and The BTN Group, presented this year’s coveted Travel Manager of the Year award yesterday at the Sheraton Boston during the GBTA Convention.
