Emirates` exhibition stand won high praise from visitors to Arabian Travel Market 2001, ATM<.>, which ran from 1st to 5th May in Dubai.

Described as a bold, new concept in stand design the two-storey facility is shaped like an Emirates aircraft and features stylised engines and a six-metre high tailfin.

Covering an area of 264 square metres, the ground floor highlights Emirates` use of cutting edge technology with its Internet stations and state-of-the-art graphics. The open-plan design of the seating area on the second floor, which incorporates a mock-pit for use as a media studio, allows for networking opportunities for the Emirates team and clients.

In addition to displaying Emirates<.>` products and services, the stand showcases the airlines` leisure divisions, such as Emirates Holidays and the Destination Management Company, Arabian Adventures. Also featured is the exclusive Al Maha Desert Resort, with a mock-up of a majlis area, and two fully-operational First Class seats, which show a selection of inflight films.

As an incentive to visitors, Skywards, the frequent flyer programme of Emirates and SriLankan Airlines, where participants could win 100,000 Skywards Miles, ran a competition on the stand.
