TEMPE – US Airways begins new daily, non-stop service from the airline’s international gateway of Philadelphia International Airport to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport and San Antonio International Airport. Customers in two of the largest cities in the Lone Star State will benefit from more convenient access to destinations throughout the East Coast, Canada and Europe as a result of the new flights.
“We’re pleased to offer travelers convenient non-stop service between our international gateway at Philadelphia International Airport and two of the top destinations in Texas,” said Bob Ciminelli, US Airways’ vice president, Philadelphia hub. “The new flights will not only provide customers in the Lone Star State with access to historic Philadelphia, but also with one-stop service to numerous international and domestic destinations via our easy to navigate northeast hub.”
