Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta announces a luxe room refresh with modern touches

Sophisticated finishes and bold design touches transform traditional guest spaces.

ATLANTA – Located in the dazzling heart of Midtown, Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta – the city’s only AAA Five-Diamond, Forbes Five-Star hotel – announces a two-part “room refresh” focused on revitalizing its guest spaces, with careful attention to luxurious textures, balanced, modern finishes and new room categories – the Midtown Deluxe, Midtown Premier and Midtown Suites.

Phase one of the room upgrades was just completed; phase two will begin in the coming months. “We’re excited about how the refreshed room design has complemented other, recent enhancements across the hotel,” says Yvette Thomas-Henry, General Manager of Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. From our new restaurant, Bar Margot, to the recent unveiling of our Penthouse Ballroom on the hotel’s 50th floor, there’s so much more to look forward to with every visit to the hotel.

Once completed, a total of 244 guest rooms, including 18 suites, will be updated with “an aesthetic born from tradition, but with timeless intent,” according to the New York-based interior design team at Meyer Davis Studio.

“The guest room design for Four Seasons a is a redefinition of the classic sensibility that guests have come to love,” says Gray Davis, principal of Meyer Davis. The fresh palette includes finishes of polished chrome, gray washed wood, nubby upholstery, and soft velvet, all balanced harmoniously in a design that’s “light, lush, and comfortable.”

This sophisticated balance is punctuated by pleasant pattern, including a patterned upholstered headboard, unexpected curves in the furniture, and artwork with a pop of color and quirk. A bold, classic motif on the carpet grounds the space in steady pattern, and thoughtful details like dark gray painted moulding and stylish bathroom finishes bring the update to a final flourish. The firm also tapped Atlanta contemporary artist, Caroline Bullock, who outfitted each room with her works on paper.

“This update is definitive of the high level of personal service and rich comfort our guests enjoy with every stay,” says Thomas. “The designs, the finishes, the attention to detail – everything reflects our commitment to our guests. And our modern refresh grounds us firmly in the lovely tradition of historic Atlanta hospitality everyone knows and loves.”
