Roiback strengthens its position in Portugal and opens a new office in Lisbon

With a portfolio of more than 30 hotels in Portugal, the tech company expects double-digit annual growth in the Portuguese market.

Roiback, a company based in Palma (Spain) and leader in the management of the direct channel of hotel sales, has expanded its presence in Portugal with a new office in Lisbon. Founded in 2010, the company already has offices in Malaga, Milan, Miami, Bali, Bangkok, Cancun, Medellin, Bogota, as well as headquarters in Palma de Mallorca and a new office in Portugal. It offers solutions to more than 1,500 hotels located in over 50 countries around the world.

 

With the opening of this new office, the expansion of its commercial team and the appointment of an account manager, the company consolidates its presence in the Portuguese market and foresees double-digit annual growth for the coming years.

 

The new Lisbon team is led by Pedro Gomes, who has been appointed Senior Business Development Manager of Roiback in Portugal. He will be responsible of increasing the portfolio of hotels that rely on Roiback's solutions. Gomes has previous experience in Idiso Hotel Distribution and GuestCentric Systems in business development positions and as a product manager. He has also worked for chains such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Sana Hotels.

Another appointment is Miguel Ramos, who will be the new Direct Channel Specialist of the Lisbon office. He has also worked for Idiso as Key Account Manager and has an extensive career in the travel industry in hotels such as Vip Hotels or Neya Hotels.

During this last year, Roiback has expanded the number of Portuguese hotels in its portfolio by 20%, reaching more than 30 clients in this market. Some of them are the chain Hoteis Premium, the five-star hotel Palacio do Estoril and the luxury apartment complex As Cascatas Golf Resort & Spa.
