Swissotel Hotels & Resorts has selected SuccessFactors

SuccessFactors, Inc. announced that the multi-award winning Swissotel Hotels & Resorts has selected SuccessFactors to help improve business alignment, increase global insight across all colleagues and properties and reduce attrition across the group.

Swissotel Hotels & Resorts is a distinctive group of deluxe hotels for today’s discerning modern business and leisure travelers, combining the renowned Swiss touch with a fresh, modern and contemporary design. The group operates in 17 countries across five continents. Swissotel Hotels & Resorts is owned by Fairmont Raffles Hotels International, a leading global hotel company with 94 hotels and resorts worldwide under the Raffles, Fairmont and Swissotel brands. The company also manages Fairmont and Raffles branded Residences, Estates and luxury private residence club properties.

Swissotel Hotels & Resorts will deploy SuccessFactors SuccessFactors Goal Management, Performance Management, Analytics & Reporting, Employee Profile and Succession Management to almost all of its 7,500 team members in 29 properties across 17 countries. New developments planned in India and Saudi Arabia as well all future projects in 2011 and beyond, will be using the SuccessFactors Business Execution Software Suite from their opening. SuccessFactors will be first deployed in English and the 16 main languages spoken in their operations will be gradually deployed over time.

“Until now all of our hotels have been mainly working independently in terms of their business alignment and HR processes,” said Pierre Botteron, vice president, Human Resources, Swissotel Hotels & Resorts. “We understand that human resources management has many local components, however from a corporate perspective, we were missing the access to global information. We have mostly local systems in place addressed to different levels and hotels, including our own internal performance management review system, and wanted to standardise the global component of our people management, with a flexible, centralised system that would meet the requirements of our teams worldwide. SuccessFactors provides us with a highly customisable and efficient solution, which will enable a further alignment of our business, a better management of our talent and achievement of our goals globally. It also integrates with our existing systems and processes.”
