Urbahn Architects hires Harold E. Nagy, R.A. as Project Manager

Nagy’s responsibilities include managing design activities; supervising architectural personnel; interacting with clients; coordinating engineering, legal, and zoning consultants; and administering construction activities

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Harold Edward Nagy, R.A. has joined the prominent New York City architecture, design, and planning firm of Urbahn Architects as Project Manager. Building Design & Construction ranks Urbahn as the 89th largest architectural firm in the U.S. 

The firm’s recent work includes the Georgetown Marriott Resort Hotel and Gaming Center in Georgetown, Guyana; Paradise Crossing mixed-use development in Jamaica; and the $70 million Tides North residential development in Arverne, N.Y.

“Harry Nagy’s experience in designing and managing large and complex projects in the hospitality, multi-family, and public markets will tremendously benefit Urbahn’s clients. His expertise will help project teams accelerate design and construction schedules and streamline interactions with clients and consultants,” said Urbahn Principal Donald E. Henry, Jr., AIA, LEED AP.  

Nagy’s responsibilities include managing design activities; supervising architectural personnel; interacting with clients; coordinating engineering, legal, and zoning consultants; and administering construction activities.

His career spans nearly 40 years of designing commercial and public projects throughout the northeast. Prior to joining Urbahn, Nagy worked in senior design positions at HDR, Yezzi Associates, Johnson Jones, and Kupper Associates. He also operated his own architectural firm. Nagy served in both the United States Air Force and New Jersey Air National Guard. He studied architecture at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA.
