China`s tourism authorities say the number of foreign tourist arrivals is being restored rapidly since the slowdown caused by the bird flu outbreak earlier this year.
The National Tourism Administration says in the first four months of this year the number of foreign tourists in China was 15 percent higher than the same period last year.
The administration also adds China`s tourism market has developed stably this year. China entertained more than 100 million person-times and earned 39 billion yuan, or over 4.8 billion US dollars from tourism in the first five month of this year.
