Travelport GDS names new country manager for Taiwan

Travelport GDS has appointed Ms Teresa Hung as its new country manager for Taiwan. Based in Taipei, Ms Hung will assume the role of country manager with immediate effect. Her role will focus on working with the regional management team to grow the company’s Galileo customer base and further strengthening its customer relationships in Taiwan.
 
Prior to joining Travelport GDS, Ms Hung served as general manager for the Qantas Group in Taiwan, responsible for the growth and operations of the three Taiwanese based offices. Among her most recent achievements, Ms Hung successfully launched Jetstar Asia, the first low cost airline in Taiwan and has held positions in marketing, product development and general management. 
 
Ms Hung will report directly to Mr Simon Nowroz, managing director of Travelport GDS for Asia, who has been instrumental in driving growth within the business faster than the industry average in the Asia region.
