Envy Social Club introduces "Free Travel" program for vacation lovers

The center of Envy Social Club is its travel-themed online social network. Members can interact via messaging, photos, blogs, and forums, all related to their past, present, and future vacations.

SAN DIEGO – Envy Social Club, a travel club and social network, has launched a solution to the high cost of travel. The company introduced a clever idea combining a travel club, an online social network, and a program where members earn travel credits for referring new friends to the club.

The center of Envy Social Club is its travel-themed online social network. Members can interact via messaging, photos, blogs, and forums, all related to their past, present, and future vacations. Conversations focus on travel tips, vacation research, current travel deals, and sharing of vacation photos.

Envy Social Club members can also earn free travel, which puts this travel club in a league of its own. After a one-time fee of $99, members have the opportunity to earn generous travel credits that can be used to purchase dream vacations. The membership fee pays for itself after referring only two friends. It’s a simple, but brilliant program. Once a new member has signed up, they then earn a $50 travel credit for each new friend they refer to the club. This model is designed to spark and maintain viral growth of the club as members tell their friends and invite them to join.

“We understand that vacations aren’t always affordable, so we’ve created a way that anyone can earn and take vacations to places like Hawaii, The Caribbean, Mexico, and Europe,” explains Lee Williams, a company representative. “People are already inviting their friends to join social networks like Facebook, Google Plus, and Instagram, so earning a free vacation is as easy as doing something the average person already does anyway,” says Williams.

As of June 2014, the club is seeking free lifetime members to help get the ball rolling, although it was unclear how long the free member offer would last.
