Crystal earns highest cruise line from Conde Nast Traveller UK readers

Discerning readers of the UK's Conde Nast Traveller magazine have voted ultra-luxe Crystal Cruises as the best large-ship cruise line in the world, and rated the line highest of any ship size, large or small, for 2012.  Readers also ranked Crystal's service the best in the cruise industry.

LOS ANGELES – The 15th “Readers’ Travel Awards” will be featured in the Conde Nast Traveller magazine’s October issue, as part of a “Top 100” list of winners from a variety of categories, including destinations.

While we have introduced a myriad of product enhancements over the past year, the service to our guests and overall cruise experience has remained consistently excellent,” says Crystal President Gregg Michel.  “We’re honored to be recognized internationally at the very top of our industry.”

The awards add to an already-large collection of ground-breaking awards bestowed upon the line just this year, including first-ever cruise industry design awards from Hospitality Design magazine and the Association of Retail Environments, as well as new acknowledgments as Conde Nast Traveler’s #1 and #2 medium-sized cruise ships, and the 17th consecutive year as Travel + Leisure readers’ choice for the World’s Best Cruise Line.

The award-winning Crystal Symphony and Crystal Serenity sail around the world on itineraries of five to 100+ days, through the Mediterranean, Western Europe, British Isles, Scandinavia/Baltic & Russia, Africa, Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South Pacific, South America, New England/Canada, Panama Canal, Caribbean, and across the Atlantic.  Until October 31, all-inclusive “Book Now” fares start at $1,575 per person, double occupancy.

Crystal’s passion for taking care of guests in an inviting environment of extraordinary space, quality and choices has earned the company more “World’s Best” awards than any other cruise line, resort, or hotel in history.
