easyJet is launching two new routes from London Gatwick airport over the coming week. It launches daily flights to Murcia followed by the launch of flights from London Gatwick to Berlin Schoenefeld on Monday 26th September.
The daily flights to Murcia start from £22.99 single and the twice daily flight to Berlin Schoenefeld starts from £17.99 single, the airline expects to carry almost 10,000 passengers during the first 12 months to Murcia and almost 17,000 to Berlin.
Passengers checking in for the inaugural flights will be greeted by decorations and flags for Spain and Germany, whilst passengers checking in for the Berlin flight will be greeted by a glass of champagne to celebrate the launch.
easyJet is the largest low cost carrier at London Gatwick offering 30 routes, to 13 countries throughout Europe. The airline has 800 flights every week from the London base carrying over 5.5 million passengers every year.
