Holiday World (Prague) confirms its reputation of an influent and well-known Central European Fair by enlargening its exhibition space for the 2005 edition. To be held on February 17-20, 2005, at the Prague Exhibition Grounds, the Holiday World will once again attract tens of thousands of trade participants and general public. Over 600 exhibitors from 50 countries will be offering tourist services of all kinds.

The organizer of the event Agentura Triumf announced this mid-December that over 95 % of fair space is sold out.

A core of international participation at the Holiday World is made by national stands organized by national tourist boards. Central-European and Mediterranean countries belong to the favorite destinations of Czech tourists; hence no wonder that these countries are represented by a great number of exhibiting companies including regional associations, travel agencies, municipalities etc. Some countries like Italy, Spain or Egypt are asking for larger exhibition space for HW2005 which reflects a growing interest of Czech tourists. Many overseas countries traditionally used to participate in the Holiday World to promote their destinations and offer a wide scope of exotic holidays, outdoor activities as well as non-European cultures and traditions. The largest Czech outbound tour operators like Cedok, Fischer or Exim Tours never miss the fair, coming with their large and proud expositions. Many other tour operators applied for the HW 2005 including members of the Association of Czech travel agencies, accomodated in a common stand.

A great portion of the fair is devoted to domestic and inbound tourism. All regions of the Czech Republic are exhibiting on net space exceeding 1200 m2 with a lot of co-exhibitors like hotels, spas, information offices, UNESCO Heritage Sites, congress facilities, local travel agencies, castles, golf courses, amusement parks and other tourist attractions. Stand compound of the national tourist organisation CzechTourism hosts delegates of all the most important professional associations of Czech travel, hotel and spa industries. An extended presentation of the famous Czech spa industry is supported by the Ministry for Regional Development. This enormous offer of regional and local tourist services and travel trade information is undoubtedly a magnet for foreign buyers of Czech incoming services, promising them an effective business opportunity and value for their money by visiting the HW 2005.

Ukraine will be presented as a partner country of the fair`s 2005 edition. A new fair sector of suppliers of free-time activities called Holiday Equipment will enrich the HW 2005 as well as a show of caravans (Caravans Prague). Another event to be held at the Prague Exhibition Fairground at the same term is India Show, bringing an overview of Indian export commodities.

A professional accompanying programme has expanded and achieved a high reputation during the last editions of the Holiday World. It is organized in cooperation with the national tourist organisation CzechTourism, key Czech travel industry media and other bodies in a Conference Centre. The social programme of the fair is topped by the Evening Ceremony, celebrated annually at the most famous and sumptuously decorated historical halls of Prague Castle. Main focus of the public programme is reflected by travel film and slide festival called WORLDfilm, a programme block prepared by National Geographic Magazine, and several exhibitions of travellers` photographs.

The usual services for international participants, like air ticket discount from the official carrier, Czech Airlines, accommodation and transfers, are offered by the organizer.
