Previously its Sales Manager, Nicki joined the Routes team in 1997. She has been a driving force behind the growth of the event, successfully taking it from a niche position to a major world trade show.
In her new position, Nicki will take on a more strategic role, building industry partnerships aimed at strengthening Routes even further. At the same time her dedicated sales team will also be expanded.
Nicki said: It is a pleasure to promote Routes amongst airports and high profile industry players. Routes has become such a strong event. The growing support of sponsors shows how Routes is an un-missable forum for Airlines and Airports worldwide. I have no doubt that the industry will recover slowly from September 11th, and I am confident that Routes will emerge stronger than ever.
Routes is a annual networking event between Airlines and Airports. It is a unique event actively promoting business through one to one meetings between airline route development managers and airport marketing managers. Next year`s Routes event will be held in Athens, Greece, on September 22-24th, 2002 and will be hosted by Athens International Airport.
