CarTrawler, the world’s leading car rental distribution system, has today signed a three year agreement with leading Scandinavian low cost carrier Sterling Airlines to exclusively provide multi-supplier car rental content across all the airline’s sales channels. CarTrawler will provide Sterling with its content upon the launch of Sterling Airlines’ new website today (15th October 09).
CarTrawler was selected as Sterling Airlines’ car rental distribution partner as a replacement to the micro site solution the airline previously used. The decision to change was made based on CarTrawler’s multi-supplier business model and the scalability of its technology which works harmoniously with all of Sterling Airlines’ own customer touch points, to maximising conversion with a great consumer experience.

Sterling Airlines is a key player in the European low cost aviation industry. It operates more than 100 routes throughout Europe (CarTrawler will be able to provide translated content in every destination Sterling Airlines serves) and carried 4.5 million passengers in 2008.
