- THAI will increase it flight frequency on the route Bangkok-Paris v.v. from seven to ten weekly flights by adding its first thrice weekly daylight flights which will take effect from 1 January 2002 onwards.
- Bangkok-Rome v.v. will be increased from six weekly flights to daily services.
- Bangkok-Zurich v.v. will be increased from six flights weekly to daily flights.
- Bangkok-Munich v.v. will be increased from three to four weekly flights. All flights will be daylight flights.
- Bangkok-Copenhagen v.v. will be increased from five to six weekly flights (only during the period from 28 October-31 December 2001)
Autralasia
- THAI will utilize MD-11 aircraft for flight operations on the route Bangkok-Melbourne v.v., and Bangkok-Brisbane-Melbourne, replacing the Boeing 777-300 aircraft.
- THAI will utilize Boeing 747-400 aircraft on the route Bangkok-Sydney-Auckland, replacing the Boeing 777-300 aircraft
- THAI will increase flight frequency between Bangkok and Perth from five to six weekly flights.
Asia
- On 1 January 2002, THAI will launch its three weekly flight operations on the route Bangkok-Chengdu (China) v.v. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
- On 30 October 2001, THAI will launch its three weekly flights on the route Bangkok-Mumbai (India) v.v. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
- THAI will increase flight frequency on the route Bangkok-Osaka v.v. (afternoon flights) from four weekly flights to daily services.
- THAI will increase flight frequency on the route Bangkok-Guangzhou v.v. from four flights weekly to daily services.
- THAI will increase flight frequency on the route Bangkok-Jakarta v.v. from three to five weekly flights.
- THAI will increase flight frequency on the route Bangkok-Hanoi v.v. from four weekly flights to daily services.
Domestic services
- Two additional flights will be added on the route Bangkok-Chiang Mai v.v., making the total of 90 weekly flights.
- Bangkok-Ubon Ratchathani v.v. will be increased from 14 to 21 weekly flights.
- Bangkok-Khon Kaen v.v. will be increased from 21 to 28 weekly flights.
- Bangkok-Krabi v.v. will be increased from 10 to 14 weekly flights.
- Other services remain unchanged.
