The publication, focusing on the region`s abundant nature, was jointly produced by the Norwegian embassy in Greece and Scandinavian airline SAS, and also promotes a new tourism product – `Scandinavian and Russian Tours`.
The trips proposed in the guide are in the form of suggested excursions, not organised tours. They simply inform visitors on where they can go and what to see. In that way, the traveller ultimately decides which destinations to visit, the length of stay and the mode of transport. The underlying philosophy is `do-it-yourself`.
