Expedia's TAAP gives US travel agents improved access to global inventory

Updated program provides robust reporting and optimized commission tracking.

BELLEVUE, WASH. – Expedia.com recently released the latest version of Expedia’s industry-first Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP). TAAP gives US travel agents access to Expedia’s global inventory, letting them earn competitive commissions on hotels, dynamic packages and activities. TAAP features an enhanced single sign-on (SSO), dedicated tools for agency managers, the ability to build customized itineraries for adding service fees, and enhanced reporting. In addition, TAAP now offers API integration for XML with select agencies.

“TAAP demonstrates Expedia’s commitment to giving travel agents a competitive edge, letting them generate incremental revenue and expand their client base,” said Linda Lossing, US head of Expedia’s Travel Agent Affiliate Program. “This is the industry’s most efficient and comprehensive travel agent affiliate platform and we’re thrilled to make it available to travel agents nationwide.”

TAAP members have direct access to Expedia’s extensive inventory. They can use Expedia’s intuitive platform to research, plan and book end-to-end trips for clients, while earning commission. Launched in the US in 2010, TAAP currently operates in more than 40 countries and gives travel agents access to more than 240,000 hotels and 400 airlines. The program has more than 38,000 members worldwide.
