The world 's No1 travel magazine premiere the Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Fair in Russia

The aim of the Fair is to bring together the hoteliers, aligns, limousine companies, spa owners, tour operators – all the movers and shakers and players in the Russian Travel World into one place for a great b2b Fair with fantastic setting and I think a very professional and warm atmosphere.

“There is a very big difference between a tourist and a traveler. We make our magazine for the latter.” These words, spoken by legendary British journalist Harry Evans, the editor and the founder of Conde Nast Traveller, would have made a great slogan for the magazine, if a much more ambitious one had not been selected: Truth in Travel. In 1987 this phrase was printed on the cover of the first issue of Conde Nast Traveller and to this day we strive to live up to it.

There is a special “Conde Nast approach” to selecting places to visit: it is not enough for a hotel, a ski resort or a restaurant simply to be good, it has to be extraordinary to be on the pages of Conde Nast Traveller. It has to have personality, individuality, and a special atmosphere, whether it be its design, the way guests are pampered, or its celebrity clientele. It should have its own legend. This approach has made Conde Nast Traveller the number-one travel magazine in the world. Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards have become the “Oscars” of the travel industry. Our ratings for hotels, airlines, spas, and golf resorts shape public opinion. Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Fair sets the bar even higher by bringing together the best of the best in the luxury tourism industry, the hotel business, airlines, and cruise lines while providing access to Russia’s top-tier travel professionals, journalists, and corporate travel agents. Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Fair is an exclusive, luxurious venue for purveyors of high-end travel services to make lucrative business contacts with individuals and companies who are liaisons, advisors, and consultants for the world’s most pampered, demanding, and experienced travelers – the readers of Conde Nast Traveller.

Conde Nast Traveller is not just a magazine about the best vacation destinations. It advances a certain lifestyle. It is a publication about the taste for travel and traveling tastefully, where discerning travelers learn which are the most beautiful beaches and the best resorts, about what to pack and what suitcase to pack, what kind of car to rent, and which apps to get to plan their itinerary. The typical reader is a well-heeled, confident man or woman who values comfort, novelty, and style when traveling and looks to Conde Nast Traveller for inspiration and new ideas. Already the benchmark for high-end travel journalism, Conde Nast Traveller now introduces the Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Fair – a unique event for high-status individuals and businesses. Equally inspired by the Conde Nast approach, the Conde Nast Traveller Luxury Travel Fair is also the start of something completely new: a business-tobusiness event bringing travel-service professionals together with high-end consumers to discuss and discover new ideas and ways of doing business. Leaders in the luxury travel business will enjoy networking with their peers, discussing industry trends and making connections with top-tier buyers, who in their turn have a chance to meet inspiring trend-setters in the high-end travel market.

A message from Nicholas Coleridge, President of Conde Nast International: “It’s now two years since Conde Nast Traveller Magazine was launched in Russia and building on its success we’re now today announcing the first Conde Nast Traveller Russia Luxury Travel Fair which will take place here in Moscow next March.

The aim of the Fair is to bring together the hoteliers, aligns, limousine companies, spa owners, tour operators – all the movers and shakers and players in the Russian Travel World into one place for a great b2b Fair with fantastic setting and I think a very professional and warm atmosphere. The reason this fair is so important to us is it is the first major luxury b2b fair we have put on and we have chosen Moscow because we think it’s the right place to do it. We will then roll out these luxury b2b fairs around the world. So we very much hope that you’ll be able to support Conde Nast Traveller in the first Luxury Fair in march in Moscow next year. Thank you very much indeed and I hope I will see you there.
