Travelport cements operator partnership in Yemen

Under the new agreement, Galileo customers in Yemen will continue to benefit from UT&T’s  regional expertise and Travelport’s latest products and solutions including Travelport Smartpoint.

SANA’a, YEMEN – Travelport, a leading provider of critical transaction processing solutions and data to companies operating in the global travel industry, has announced the renewal of its long-term Operator Agreement with Universal Travel & Tourism (UT&T) in Yemen.

The new multi-year agreement affirms that UT&T – which has 12 offices across Yemen covering all major cities – will remain Travelport’s distributor of Galileo technology and services to travel agencies in the country, cementing its successful, long-standing partnership with the GDS provider.
