Sixteen economic development organizations and nearly 100 leaders in the civic, corporate, government and tourism industries from Philadelphia will gather at the Liberty Bell Center for the announcement of a long-term program to brand the region as a great place to live, work and play. The goal of the project is to increase the number of organizations doing business here, to increase the residential population and to bring in more tourists and conventioneers.
Meeting for nearly a year to lay the foundation for this program, these organizations will unveil a common mark logo and tagline, a first-ever Web site for the entire region and a video that captures the area`s independent spirit.
The event will take place on Friday, June 23, 2006 at the Liberty Bell Center, Independence Mall in Philadelphia.
In the event there will be delegates from 16 organizations:
