The Association of Serviced Apartment Providers (ASAP) is delighted to launch its 2014 Awards Programme – the only programme of its kind for our sector – which has been expanded to 6 individual categories this year, following the inaugural year in 2013.
Each category is designed to represent excellence in its own right and collectively the objective is to promote the advancement of excellence in the Serviced Apartment sector.
The award categories are:
1. Innovation
2. Hospitality
3. Guest Experience
4. Rising Star
5. Industry Leader
6. Outstanding Individual
The deadline for entries is: 5pm, Friday 29th August 2014.
James Foice, ASAP Managing Director commented: “All ASAP’s 73 members are encouraged to submit an entry for at least one award category. The rapid growth of our sector means that there are many key entrepreneurs responsible for driving this growth so we are delighted that 3 of our awards give the opportunity to recognise these key individuals.”
The Hospitality and Guest Experience Awards will for the first time take into account the results of the new Quality Assessment Scheme pioneered by ASAP this year. Each member has received an in-depth quality assessment visit this summer delivering them valuable benchmarking data on their business performance particularly in relation to their competitive set.
Judging will be carried out by a completely independent panel.
The awards will be presented on 4th December at the Gala Dinner immediately after the industry’s key event of the year – the 2014 ASAP Serviced Apartment Conference in London, attended by 300 delegates.
Members who have been successfully shortlisted for the awards will be announced at the Association’s 10 September quarterly meeting.

Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
